Top Picks: Eight to Look for at Wanted Design
Wanted Design, now open (as of May 17) in Industry City in Brooklyn and starting Saturday May 20 at the Terminal Stores in Chelsea, has established a welcome reputation for promoting new talent, airing ideas, and bringing together young and seasoned designers from around the world in shows that run through May 23. MODERN Magazine asked contributing editor and veteran show-goer Paul Clemence to anticipate some of the highlights at Wanted Design in Manhattan.
CINIER
LED lighting is just one of the product categories this French manufacturer, which also makes radiators and fan coils. The company is known for combining technical efficiency with an artistic sense of aesthetics to their designs. At Wanted, Cinier will show its TRIO LT wall fixture, which when off looks like a Mondrian inspired wall sculpture and until its 600 LED lights are turned on.
